Custom Online Asbestos Audit Solution
DCODE has been working with Edge Group on the launch of an Asbestos Reporting Solution: Asbestos Edge. The system is designed to manage the collection and processing of Asbestos/Hazardous Material audits for both commercial and residential buildings. The residential Asbestos Inspection tool was recently launched at the Melbourne Home Show.
According to the Edge Group: "Approximately 1 in 3 homes inspected in Melbourne contain harmful asbestos materials. If your home was built or renovated before the 1990's it is likely it has asbestos containing materials. The safest thing you can do if you suspect asbestos in your home is to have a sample tested by a National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) accredited laboratory." As expert environmental consultants; Edge Group was looking to develop an online tool to manage their audits - both from an overall project management view as well as within each audit itself. DCODE was engaged to help design and develop a custom, cloud-based solution to manage the data collection, processing and management of the audits producing custom Inspection Reports for each client.
